About the Role:
We are currently seeking experienced Engineering Supervisors (ES) to join our growing rail team. This is an excellent opportunity for rail professionals looking for either consistent weekend shifts or full-time employment with competitive pay, working on a variety of rail infrastructure projects across the UK.
As an Engineering Supervisor, you will play a key role in the safe delivery of works within a Possession and will be responsible for coordinating site activities, liaising with key personnel, and ensuring works are carried out to industry and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate engineering activities on rail projects during possessions and isolations
Act as the main point of contact between on-site teams and the Possession/Worksite Manager
Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with Network Rail and company procedures
Carry out pre-work briefings and ensure all staff are clear on safety protocols
Report incidents, near misses, or unsafe practices promptly
Accurately complete and submit required documentation and reports
Requirements:
Valid Engineering Supervisor (ES) competency (Sentinel Card)
PTS (Personal Track Safety)
COSS and/or SWL desirable
Full UK driving licence preferred
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar ES role
Good communication and leadership skills
Willing to work weekends and/or full-time shifts, including nights if required
