Job Summary
Would you like to join a progressive and busy podiatry service in Gloucestershire? This job is for a Band 6 bank podiatrist who will work with a dedicated team offering high quality care to complex patients. You will assess and plan individual patient care, work independently and be part of a dynamic team. We provide mentoring and expect excellent diagnostic, clinical, communication and team‑building skills.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of a podiatry team including podiatrists, assistants, health care assistants, apprentices, orthotic technicians and admin staff.
* Deliver podiatric interventions to a caseload of patients using remote and face‑to‑face methods.
* Understand, support and comply with established clinical pathways and evidence‑based care; collaborate with management to improve pathways.
* Maintain accurate written records and statistics in line with Trust policies.
* Provide specialist clinical treatments / advice with support from Service and Team Leads.
* Provide and receive complex and sensitive information from service users, carers or other professionals and agencies daily.
* Provide clinical training to students, apprentices and colleagues.
* Participate in clinical professional development and regular supervision sessions; work positively with colleagues to maintain effective relationships.
* Travel as required to fulfil job duties.
* Use vascular and sensory diagnostic equipment.
Essential Qualifications
* Recognised Diploma/Degree in Podiatric Medicine.
* HCPC Registered Podiatrist.
* Certificate in Local Analgesia.
* UK professional registration.
Essential Experience
* Ability to work effectively as a team member.
* Competence and post‑qualifying experience within podiatry, managing a complex caseload.
* Extensive experience assessing, treating and managing patients with evidence‑based plans.
* Ongoing CPD and commitment to life‑long learning.
* Experience as an autonomous practitioner without direct supervision.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
* Experience in podiatry including MSK, core, wound care and nail surgery.
Desirable
* Experience collaborating with other agencies including the voluntary sector.

Contract & Pay
Band 6, Bank contract, flexible working. Pay £19.78 to £23.82 an hour.
