About the Role
Are you a regulatory expert with a strategic mindset? As Head of Conduct Regulation (Operations), you will set and deliver FCA Conduct Regulation and Financial Crime strategies, ensuring alignment with business risk appetite and regulatory standards. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you'll shape regulatory interpretation, governance, and financial crime prevention across the organization.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Define and develop FCA Conduct Regulation and Financial Crime strategies
* Provide expert interpretation of FCA regulations
* Coordinate regulatory interactions with the FCA
* Lead compliance and financial crime governance and assurance
* Manage and develop the compliance team
About You
We seek an experienced regulatory leader with deep FCA compliance knowledge, financial crime prevention expertise, and strong governance understanding. You should be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and external regulators.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Technical Expertise:
* Extensive knowledge of FCA Conduct Regulation and compliance best practices
* Experience in financial crime prevention and risk management
* Ability to interpret FCA Handbook requirements
* Strong compliance reporting skills
Leadership and Skills:
* Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
* Proven leadership in compliance teams
* Strategic thinking aligned with business goals
* Change management experience
Qualifications:
* Professional qualification (e.g., ACII, Financial Crime Diploma)
* Senior management experience in regulatory/compliance roles
