Compliance and Assurance Manager Leeds, hybrid £45,000 DoE Sellick Partnership are supporting a fast-growing specialist marketing and client acquisition business with the recruitment of a Compliance and Assurance Manager. This is a strong opportunity for a compliance professional to join a growing organisation working with leading law firms and professional services clients across the UK. The business is moving into an FCA-regulated environment, so this role will play an important part in supporting compliance, risk and quality assurance activity across regulated and unregulated work. Reporting to the Compliance Director, you will support compliance monitoring, risk management, marketing and financial promotion reviews, complaints handling and QA processes. The role will suit someone who can balance regulatory requirements with commercial objectives in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities: Support compliance monitoring and QA reviews across marketing, lead generation and customer journeys Identify, assess and escalate compliance risks, maintaining accurate records and MI Review marketing materials and campaigns in line with FCA requirements, including Consumer Duty Support adherence to UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and PECR Support financial promotion reviews and monitor live activity where required Maintain the risk register and contribute to compliance reporting Assist with complaints handling, investigations and root cause analysis Maintain policies and procedures and support audits, governance and regulatory enquiries Identify and document breaches, incidents and remediation actions Review customer communications for compliance and quality Support the delivery of compliance training across the business About you: 2 years' experience in compliance, risk or governance Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to interpret regulatory and legal requirements Excellent written communication and documentation skills Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities Working knowledge of FCA, ASA, GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 or PECR requirements Desirable experience: Experience in a regulated environment Exposure to FCA-regulated activity, legal services or claims management Experience reviewing marketing or advertising materials Understanding of compliance monitoring or risk management frameworks Benefits: Career progression, with a pathway to manager level and department head Competitive salary Hybrid working Collaborative culture Work social events Discretionary annual bonus Expenses MacBook Pro Statutory pension 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Training and development Sellick Partnership is proud to be an inclusive and accessible recruitment business and we support applications from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances.
