Role Overview
The Warehouse Operative plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within a fast-paced FMCG environment. This position is responsible for accurate handling, storage, and dispatch of products to meet customer demand and maintain operational efficiency. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic setting.
Working Hours
41.25 hours per week, on a two-weekly rotating shift cycle as follows:
1 - 06:00–14:15 - 13:45–22:00
2 - 13:45–22:00 - 06:00–14:15
Weekend coverage may be required depending on business needs and will be distributed fairly across teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Receiving & Checking: Unload deliveries, verify quantities and quality against purchase orders.
2. Stock Management: Organise and store goods safely, maintain accurate inventory records using WMS (Warehouse Management System).
3. Order Picking & Packing: Prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct labelling and packaging.
4. Dispatch: Load goods onto vehicles for delivery, ensuring compliance with transport and safety regulations.
