What You'll Be Doing
* Leading the execution of the site's 52‑week PPM schedule.
* Documenting all maintenance activity using our CMMS system and ensuring accurate parts usage.
* Identifying reliability improvements, implementing approved changes, and contributing to continuous improvement.
* Ensuring critical equipment is maintained to support uninterrupted production.
* Upholding site safety, compliance, and engineering standards at all times.
What We're Looking For
* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering and NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in engineering within a food manufacturing or similar regulated environment.
* Proven experience leading or mentoring a small engineering team.
* Strong knowledge of engineering best practices, including PPM, root cause analysis, and reliability‑centred maintenance.
* Familiarity with coating and frying equipment is advantageous.
* Good communication skills, PC literacy (Excel, Word), and a methodical approach to documentation and safety.
