We're looking for a Merchandising Team Leader based in the Springburn Glasgow area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working in a range of high street retailers on behalf of exciting household name brands. We work across a variety of categories including: Books and Entertainment, Fashion, Grocery, Health and Beauty, Beers, Wines and Spirits, and Toys.
You'll be supervising and training your team to ensure they're delivering excellent service for our clients and delivering to agreed measures and deadlines. Merchandising tasks include setting up Point of Sale displays, checking stock levels, and replenishing fixtures. Every day is different and rewarding! About the role:
The ideal recruitment area is Springburn Glasgow, with the full area of responsibility including Springburn Glasgow, Glasgow/West Dunbartonshire, Paisley, Argyle & Bute.
The contracted hours are 30 per week. You will conduct supervisory tasks for 12 hours per week at a rate of £12.70 and client merchandising tasks for 18 hours per week at a rate of £12.21.
How you'll deliver excellence:
1. Supervising
o Support the coordination of the merchandising schedule for merchandisers in your area.
o Coach and train fellow merchandisers on merchandising principles and processes to ensure high-quality service.
2. Compliance and Standards
o Act as a compliance champion, holding yourself and colleagues accountable to high standards.
o Adhere to merchandising standards, store policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
o Implement planograms to ensure consistency and compliance.
3. Product Placement and Replenishment
o Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
4. Promotional and Point of Sale Setup
o Set up promotional displays and signage effectively.
5. Strong communication and relationship building
o Build and maintain good relationships with store colleagues and managers.
o Provide accurate feedback to client account teams via our feedback application.
What makes you excellent:

* Full UK driving license and access to a business-use car
* Comfortable with manual handling of products
* Experience in retail merchandising, retail, or customer service
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to own your work within set timeframes and use initiative
* Pride in delivering high standards and service
* Experience supervising, training, or coaching colleagues (a bonus)
* Willing to accept home deliveries of POS or stock items (additional pay)
* Confident using a company tablet for tasks
