The Opportunity
At Zopa, analysts are the people who inspire ideas and strategies to drive our business forward and make our products better for customers. Our analysts are a mix of creative problem solvers and number whizzes who translate numbers into business opportunities and deliver insights to drive decision-making. They’re also strong communicators who can story-tell with data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Analysts work deeply with the business and interact with individuals at all levels from Managers to our leadership team. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our Retail finance solution / Point of Sale product tribe. Your role is to be the key person generating the insight that helps us improve our product stream by adding more insight and data driven decision making.
A Day In The Life
* Support the Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering team to improve our data warehouse and data migration to Redshift
* Generate key insights from our data warehouse and help product managers drive product development
* Pair with product managers to design and implement A/B tests in live customer journeys
* Model and forecast the impact of changes you drive
* Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, designers and credit analysts to reach the best solution
* Share insight on product commercial data with merchant and client success teams
* Take ownership of projects, monitor key metrics and identify new opportunities
About You
* Some experience in a data-led, fast-paced environment (e.g. consulting, banking, start-up)
* Analytical with excellent attention to detail
* Quantitative background with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
* Strong SQL skills and basic Python
* Experience using Tableau or other BI tools (e.g. Looker, Power BI)
* Clear communication of insights, with ability to influence across levels
* Respectful yet capable of challenging ideas constructively
* Self-starter who seeks support when needed and takes initiative
* Keen learner, aiming to stay on the cutting edge
* Experience working in cross-functional teams to build great products
We’re expanding
From September 2025, Zopa will open a brand-new office in Manchester at WeWork, Dalton Place, 29 John Dalton Street, M2 6WF. This hybrid role requires you to come to our Manchester office 2-3 days a week. You’ll also have the option of working from abroad for up to 120 days a year. We’ll provide the support you need to thrive in both work and home life. Subject to having the right to work in the country of choice.
