Your Role as a Bank Care Assistant
Being a Care Assistant means being a companion, a helping hand, and a source of comfort. Youll play a vital role in supporting older people to live with dignity and independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing companionship and emotional support
* Assisting with personal care and hygiene
* Supporting mobility around the home
* Helping with household tasks such as cleaning and tidying
* Preparing and serving meals
* Administering or supporting medication management
* Supporting residents throughout both day and night shifts as required
About Vera James House
Vera James House is a purpose-built residential care home for older people with 42 single rooms, all with ensuite facilities. Vera James House is designed to support older people living with dementia and other related conditions, as well as residents who require permanent or respite care in a residential setting.
