Risk and Compliance Officer Vacancy Available
Rate: £26,000 per year
Venn Group are currently working with a law firm based in Manchester who are looking to bring in a Risk and Compliance Officer on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract.
Responsibilities
* Reviewing ID3 checks, interpreting the results and providing appropriate guidance to the business
* Monitoring and dealing with queries logged in the compliance portal, providing advice as required
* Assisting in the management of the compliance monitoring programme, conducting periodic compliance audits
* Providing assistance to the Senior Risk & Compliance Officers and AML Manager as and when required
* Working with the Senior Risk & Compliance Officers to ensure all elements of professional standards and risk are integrated and managed within the legal services areas of the business
* Ensuring adherence to the relevant legal and regulatory requirements and that everyone provides the highest standard of service
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will need a basic understanding of the SRA’s Codes of Conduct and general compliance issues
