We're GEEIQ (pronounced like ‘Geek') and we’re a data platform and insights provider that’s used by the likes of Gucci, Walmart, L’Oreal and Porsche to navigate and engage virtual worlds. Think Ralph Lauren in Fortnite, or Elton John in Roblox.
We believe that the metaverse hype is over and that brands demand more than just good press when it comes to activating in these spaces, they need to be able to measure, attribute and identify tangible revenue opportunities. That’s where our platform comes in.
Based in London, GEEIQ is a team of 35 with plans to grow substantially in the next 24 months. Predominantly office-based, our working environment fosters collaboration and innovation.

Our Commercial team plays a critical role in onboarding the biggest brands onto the GEEIQ platform and setting our subscribers up for success on their virtual world journey. As a team, we are on a mission to attract, educate and support companies who are building and scaling their virtual strategies. We believe that the best in class companies need a data-led approach to achieve short and long term success in this exploding space.
What you’ll do
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for our future GEEIQ subscribers. Your focus will be to create excitement about our platform and to transform qualified leads into signed subscriptions.
You will be collaborating closely with the existing team of SDR’s and ensure our sales process is as efficient and effective as possible.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with exciting global enterprise brands, with senior stakeholders who have interest in leveraging our platform and services. We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Account Executive who is seeking an exciting opportunity in a scaling organisation.

Key Responsibilities
* Driving sales of our subscription platform.
* Closing new business - presenting our core value proposition, matching our product & services with the customers needs and negotiating subscription based agreements.
* Managing new business from pre-qualified leads by the SDR’s.
* Identifying key stakeholders and decision makers to understand their priorities, and demonstrate how GEEIQ will help them achieve their goals.
* Positioning GEEIQ as a long-term business partner to advance the mission of target accounts.
* Managing tools that help connect us, such as LinkedIn and CRM systems, and you have a keen interest in using them professionally.
* Collaborating with team members and finding strategic ways to win business.
* Developing and managing pipeline activity and monitoring sales activity against assigned quotas.
* Acquiring industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, and competitors.
* Ability to travel and visit local and international prospects when required.
* Leading communication with varied clients: different sizes, market segments, and regions.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Experience - 12 months’ + proven experience in an Account Executive role or in a similar position.
* Passion - Individuals who are passionate about the virtual world and have a genuine interest in working for a high-growth company in an exciting industry.
* Industry - Previous experience in marketing technology products, a (growth-stage) startup or a SaaS company would be a huge benefit.
* Target driven - Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement in complex accounts and contributing $400k+ ARR in subscription value. Proven ability to close deals (ideally in the media space, upwards of £50k+),
* Delivery - Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with prospective clients. Experience handling and owning enterprise deal sizes with up to C-Level relationships.
* Curiosity - You understand new trends in technology and the evolving relationship between brands and their consumers. We want our team to be enthusiastic about the industry we work in and the people we work with.
* Impact - You have demonstrated excellence in the past as a top performer in your previous roles, and are someone who is highly achievement orientated, both in and out of the office!
