Overview

The post holder will provide comprehensive, efficient and effective administrative and secretarial service to the Professional Education Team. The post holder will develop good working relationships with all levels of staff (Trust wide and externally) in order to promote the work and services of the Professional Education Team. The post holder will demonstrate an attitude which respects and values service users and their carers. The post holder will embrace the core values of the organisation and adopt the principles of recovery.

Specific Responsibilities

* Accurately maintain the Advanced Clinical Practice database.
* Provide administrative support to the Preceptorship Team by managing the email inbox, maintaining the master list database of preceptee activity, and collating data for reporting purposes.
* Oversee the scheduling of Preceptorship events and subsequent booking of venues.
* Support the wider Professional Education Team with administrative duties covering Allied Health Professionals, Clinical Psychology and Nursing students, including direct communication with external stakeholders and managing student information and supporting reporting processes.
* Maintain accurate and timely collection and recording of data and ensure protection of personally identifiable information.
* Adhere to all organisational policies, health and safety legislation, local policies and procedures.
* Comply with the NHS Constitution regarding staff responsibilities for NHS employees.
* Attend a one day Just and Learning & Civility and Respect training workshop and act as an ambassador for Just & Learning and Civility & Respect within the team.

* Support and encourage the sharing of concerns about safety and quality of care with senior leaders to improve safety and quality.
* Actively participate in creating an open culture within the team, where concerns and difficulties can be discussed safely and respectfully.
* Speak up if exposed to incivility between colleagues, listen to concerns and collaborate on solutions to improve civility and respect.
* Support the team and services to create a positive environment for Just and Learning Culture and participate in Just and Learning Culture events.


Training & Development

* Attend a one day Just and Learning & Civility and Respect training workshop.
* Be an ambassador for Just & Learning and Civility & Respect following the training, positively advocating the just and learning culture within your team.
* Support your team to create a positive environment for Just and Learning Culture and participate in related events.
