Job Description:
The Recruitment Co. is currently recruiting for Senior Field / Project Engineer (Fluid Monitoring Division) to join our client's growing team based in the Swansea area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, fast-growing, reputable company.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £40k plus overtime and overnight allowance
Hours of work: Full-time. Hours will vary week to week due to this position being based in Swansea but covering UK & Europe. Successful candidates will be compensated for expenses, overnight allowances, a company vehicle, and so on. This is primarily a field-based position, with most work conducted on remote customer sites across the UK, away from the Swansea HQ. Currently, the role is 80% field and 20% office-based due to on-site project workload.

Summary:
Working as part of the FMS/FMP Division, the role supports both internal and external customers by delivering high levels of customer satisfaction through strong technical expertise and efficient execution of system installations and flushing procedures. The focus is on the precise installation, calibration, and fluid monitoring of a wide range of systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct pre-commission cleaning of closed-loop heating and chilled water systems
2. Carry out flushing in accordance with BSRIA BG29 and BG50 guidelines
3. Perform system chemical dosing and treatment of process water systems
4. Pre-commissioning of systems to meet design specifications and regulatory standards
5. Monitor and take samples for laboratory analysis, interpreting quality results
6. Review post-laboratory analysis results and recommend treatment adjustments (training provided; role will evolve)
7. Prepare and deliver detailed commissioning and flushing reports for clients
8. Liaise with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate on-site activities
9. Maintain accurate records of work and chemicals used
10. Assist in troubleshooting, operational issue resolution, and project close-out
