Role Description
We are seeking diligent candidates for the full-time role of Gluing Minder. Based on-site at our St Ives facility, the Gluing Minder will be responsible for the setup, running, and maintenance of gluing machinery to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications. The shift rotation for this role will be 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm. Key duties include monitoring production processes, conducting quality checks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to throughout operations. The role involves collaborating with production teams to achieve efficiency, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of quality.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a gluing minder role is essential
* Technical skills in equipment setup, operation, and maintenance, particularly with gluing machinery
* Attention to detail for performing quality checks and ensuring that products meet customer specifications
* Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or production issues
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and excellent communication skills
* Basic understanding of health and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
* Ability to work efficiently under time constraints to meet production deadlines
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and operational procedures
