Job Description:
The main focus of the role will be to assist in a small busy warehouse, unloading
containers, picking and packing orders and helping with the organisation of the
warehouse.
Possible jobs:
Warehouse assistant. Unloading containers, moving boxes around the warehouse,
picking and packing orders, preparing orders for despatch, helping to keep the
warehouse tidy, sweeping, emptying bins, stock taking, quality control, reprocessing
goods.
Skills required:
Computer literacy would be an advantage.
Candidate should be numerate.
Grade 4 and above GCSE minimum.
A 'can do' attitude and an ability for problem solving.
Most be trustworthy
An interest in winter sports is an advantage.
General:
Please remember we are a small team and you may have to turn your hand
to anything, a 'can do' attitude is essential at all times, whether its helping to empty
the bins, greeting couriers or making a driver a hot drink, you will be expected to
perform different tasks as required on the day.
Salary/Hours:
Hourly wage – Meets National Minimum Wage
Hours 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Additional hours maybe required.
30 mins lunch break = 37.5 hours per week
You may be required to work some Saturday mornings in October to help us over our
busy time, this may carry in to November.
Duration:
Temporary position starting Mid September 2025 through until end March 2026.
