The Role of Mechanical Fitter
Working in a shopfloor environment
Collecting drawings and parts
Using hand tools and specialist tools
Assembly of parts
Fitting of part
Machining where required
Creating sub assemblies
The Right Mechanical Fitter
Experienced mechanical fitter
Able to read technical drawings
Can use hand tools
Can work as part of a team
Can use airtools
Happy to liaise with design and other departments
