Job Title: Qualified Dental Nurse
Practice: Alpha Dental Care Nottingham
Location: 171 Carlton Road, Nottingham, NG3 2FW
Position Type: Full Time or Part-time
Working Hours: Either: Monday- Friday 8.30-5.30 (total: 40 hours) OR Monday, Thursday, Friday 5.30pm-9.30pm (total: 12 hours)
Salary: £13.25 - £13.50 p.h (depending on experience and qualifications)
About the Practice
Alpha Dental Care Nottingham is a newly refurbished, modern dental practice offering a welcoming and professional environment for both patients and staff. The practice features six spacious surgeries and is fully equipped with advanced technology including an OPG machine, digital X-rays, intra-oral scanners, Airflow, and an endodontic rotary machine to support high-quality clinical care. You’ll be joining a well-established team with long-standing nurses, alongside specialist-trained nurses who support a range of treatments. The practice also benefits from an on-site clinical lead, ensuring strong clinical guidance and support. Additional features include Dental Essentials membership plans, a separate staff room for team breaks, and convenient on-site parking, making this a comfortable and practical place to work.
Responsibilities
* Assist clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures
* Maintain high standards of infection control and cleanliness
* Deliver excellent patient care and reassurance
* Assist with patient records and administrative tasks
* Ensure compliance with CQC and GDC regulations
Essential Requirements
* GDC registered Dental Nurse
* Up-to-date Hepatitis B vaccination and immunisation status
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A team-focused approach with a strong commitment to patient care
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Additional qualifications in Radiography, Implants, Orthodontics, or Sedation
