Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role based at Carlisle Airport for an Assistant Operations Manager. The Assistant Operations Manager will oversee daily operations and logistics, coordinate helicopter schedules, and liaise with clients on their travel needs. Responsibilities include managing client inquiries, ensuring operational safety standards, supporting the operations manager, providing crew schedules, booking aircraft movements and crew accommodation, hangar management, refuelling aircraft, record keeping, and assisting with accounting procedures.
Qualifications
* Operational and logistical management skills, including scheduling and resource allocation
* Client relationship management and communication skills
* Safety compliance and regulatory knowledge in aviation operations
* Team collaboration, leadership, and staff coordination abilities
* Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
* Proficiency in standard office and operations software (Heliplan)
* Prior experience in aviation or transport logistics is advantageous
