What the job involves This role involves supporting the operational needs and delivery of the Strategic Planning and Infrastructure team, working within functions such as Development Management, Planning Enforcement, and Spatial Planning. Responsibilities include handling planning applications, enforcement, preparing and monitoring planning documentation, engaging the public, and working on various projects. Collaboration with officers, partners, and the community is crucial to deliver outcomes aligned with the Council’s Corporate Plan. As a planner, you will process applications, handle consultations, prepare reports, and provide advice on planning matters while embedding equality and diversity into all aspects of the work.
