We work on behalf of a wonderful special school in the Weston-Super-Mare area that are looking for a Teacher to join the team. The school look after a wide range of SEN which includes ASC, Cognition & Learning Needs, ADHD, SLCN.
They're a friendly, happy and caring school that seek to ensure that their learners emerge from school as self-confident individuals; equipped with the skills to successfully take the next step in their lives. They really are a lovely bunch of staff who care deeply about every single student in the school.
The role
This role is within the KS2 section of the school, they are looking for a TA to support in classes across KS2 at the school. You must be naturally proactive in your approach in the classroom, always looking for ways to support where you can.
Due to the needs of the school it is important that you have worked with SEN before (whether this be in a specialist school or mainstream). They are looking for someone that is able to support there on a permanent/long-term basis.
