What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing daily care to residents with kindness and consistency
* Supervising a team and coordinating shift handovers
* Administering medication and reviewing care plans regularly
* Being a point of contact for families and professionals
Who We’re Looking For
* An experienced carer with confidence leading others
* Someone who holds SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
* A Christian who is comfortable supporting the spiritual life of the service
* Calm in a crisis and warm in everyday interactions
* Able to motivate and uplift a diverse team of care staff
* Christian Occupational Requirement: This role is reserved for a practising Christian due to the nature of the post and its spiritual responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010.
* SSSC registration and PVG scheme membership are essential but don’t worry if you’re new to the process, we’ll guide you through it.

As we do our work in Christ’s name, this role requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.
This post requires membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertaking the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and ensure you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
