Carpenters/Fire Door Installers
* Location: Leeds
* Job Type: Temporary (2 weeks)
* Start Dates: 11th August or 18th August
We are seeking skilled Carpenters/Fire Door Installers and Decorators for a temporary project. This project involves the installation of 40 fire doors in a school in Leeds. The team will consist of four Carpenters/Fire Door Installers, one of whom will also act as a Supervisor with First Aid certification. All candidates must have an advanced DBS check.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Carpenters/Fire Door Installers:
o Install fire doors as per safety standards and project requirements.
o Coordinate with the Supervisor to ensure timely completion of the installation.
o Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
* Supervisor (Carpenter/Fire Door Installer):
o Oversee the installation team to ensure efficient and correct installation.
o Provide first aid as needed.
o Manage any onsite issues and report back to project management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in carpentry, specifically with fire door installations.
* For the Supervisor: Leadership experience and a valid First Aid certificate.
* Advanced DBS check is mandatory for all roles.
* Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
