Seven Social Care is looking for a Qualified Children’s Complex Safeguarding Social Worker to start work in Manchester.
You will support the Complex Safeguarding Hub. This is an agency post for 3 – 6 months initially, with the view to extending. Pay rate is £38 an hour.
The Hub works with young people who are at risk from child sexual exploitation, child criminal exploitation, gangs and serious youth violence and we have a strong focus on building trusted relationships and a trauma informed approach with young people alongside the disruption of perpetrators.
Your key responsibilities will include:
You will work closely with colleagues from GMP and Health and other partners to deliver best possible response to those at risk of exploitation.
A key part of the role is to work with colleagues in social work teams across the city to support and advise on exploitation issues and to develop and sustain strong working relationships with a range of partners.
Essential Requirements:
* Registered with Social Work England and hold Social Work Qualification
* Experience in a similar role
* Up to date enhanced DBS
* Essential car user post
