This role supports the delivery of the organisation's Procurement Strategy and Annual Procurement Plan, managing both planned and ad-hoc sourcing activity. You'll act as a key procurement contact for stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring value, compliance and strong supplier performance.

Description
* Support and manage sourcing events aligned to the Annual Procurement Plan and ad-hoc business requirements
* Act as the first point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders on sourcing and contract queries
* Support contract management activities to maximise value and manage supplier performance
* Maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL) ensuring supplier competence and accreditation
* Promote and ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures and governance
* Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on procurement systems and initiatives (e.g. SRM tools)
* Assist in the development and implementation of new procurement policies and processes
Profile
* Demonstrable procurement experience and/or MCIPS qualification with practical, end-to-end tendering experience
* Strong commercial awareness with a sound understanding of contract terms and supplier management
* Good working knowledge of EU procurement regulations and best-practice processes
* Confident stakeholder manager, able to influence and support at pace
* Proactive self-starter with strong ownership and accountability
* Experience using procurement systems and ERP platforms (ideally SAP S/4, Ariba or similar)
