Are you enthusiastic, friendly, and love being part of a vibrant community? MeCycle Café in Southport is looking for Additional Café Assistants to join our team on a part-time or casual basis!

About MeCycle Café: MeCycle Café isn’t just a café—it’s a lively social hub and bike shop. Owned by Autism Initiatives, our café is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where autistic individuals can gain valuable work experience. Established in 2011, we started by recycling and refurbishing donated bikes. Now, we’re a beloved spot for locals and cyclists from all over, serving up delicious home-cooked food, cakes, and special treats.

We offer a fantastic selection of bikes, from new ones to lovingly refurbished classics, and provide expert repairs by our Cytec qualified bike mechanics. Our café is a hotspot for cyclists from North Wales, Manchester, Chorley, and beyond. It’s a place where families, couples, and groups gather to enjoy barista coffees, exciting teas, cold drinks, beers, wines, and homemade goodies.

About the Role: We’re looking for someone with a knack for excellent communication and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. Whether you’re good with food or just love serving up smiles, we want to hear from you. Flexibility is key, as you’ll need to be available for evenings and weekends, including some shifts involving bar work, food preparation, or event support. Don’t worry if you don’t have a Food and Hygiene Certificate—we’ll provide all the training you need!

Why Join Us? At MeCycle, you’ll be part of a team that’s making a real difference. We work alongside local schools to create meaningful work placements for young autistic people. Your role will help them gain valuable work and social skills, boost their confidence and self-esteem, improve their health and wellbeing, and support them into employment.

The Closing date for completed applications is 12th October 2025
