Job Description
Strategic Leadership· Develop and implement enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy, standards, policies, and procedures.
· Lead threat detection, prevention, and incident response programs.
· Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, CERT-In, DPDP Act, and other regulatory frameworks.
· Lead incident response, crisis management, and digital forensic investigations in case of security breaches.
· Conduct risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans.Operational Security· Oversee IT security infrastructure and SOC operations.
· Manage disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) planning.
· Drive security awareness and training across the organization.Compliance & Governance· Liaise with external agencies (law enforcement, regulators, advisory bodies).
· Collaborate with IT, legal, compliance, and operations teams to embed security in business processes.
· Report regularly to executive leadership on security posture and risk Management· Manage a team of cybersecurity professionals and ensure continuous skill development.
The Successful Applicant
In addition to the relevant CISO experience, the successful candidate should have done
4. At least 2 staff appointments with senior officers of the flag rank.
5. Experience with Govt agencies and DRDO/ CERT-In/ NTRO/NSC will be preferred.
6. Should be an expert in project execution.
7. Should be well versed with ISO 2701:2022 and all other related certifications in respect of Information and Cyber Security.
