Job Description
Accounts Payable Assistant responsibilities:
* Handle all aspects of vendor management including invoice processing and payment.
* Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist in the monthly close process.
* Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and classified correctly.
* Work closely with the Financial Controller to improve processes and controls.
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with all internal policies and relevant regulations.
* Support the Accounting & Finance Department with other duties as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
* A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations.
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
