About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Business Development Director with a strong background in the iGaming industry. This role is critical to expanding our footprint in the UK and European markets, driving revenue growth, and building long-term relationships with key clients, operators, and partners. The successful candidate will combine industry expertise with proven sales leadership and strong commercial acumen to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion & Growth
* Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the iGaming sector (operators, B2B providers, technology partners).
* Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the UK and other target European markets.
Client & Stakeholder Management
* Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with C-level stakeholders across operators, suppliers, and affiliates.
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and aligning solutions accordingly.
Sales Leadership
* Lead contract negotiations, commercial proposals, and closing deals in line with company strategy.
* Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Strategy & Collaboration
* Work closely with Product, Marketing, Delivery, and Legal teams to ensure successful execution of business opportunities.
* Provide insights on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform business strategy.
Representation & Branding
* Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings across the UK and internationally.
* Enhance the company’s reputation as a trusted iGaming partner.
Requirements:
Experience
* 7–10+ years of progressive experience in business development or sales leadership roles, with at least 5 years in the iGaming industry (B2B or B2C).
* Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong understanding of the UK and European iGaming landscape (operators, regulators, suppliers, affiliates).
Skills & Competencies
* Exceptional stakeholder management, networking, and negotiation skills.
* Deep commercial acumen with the ability to structure complex deals.
* Ability to manage long sales cycles and enterprise-level partnerships.
* Strong analytical and presentation skills.
* Excellent communication skills in English (additional European language is a plus).
* Willingness to travel frequently across the UK and internationally.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
