About the Role
As the Training Officer, you will be instrumental in shaping our company's training landscape. Working closely with senior personnel, you will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of a Learning & Development framework, ensuring that individual, team, and organisational growth align with business needs.
You will establish and oversee a Training Academy, develop leadership pipelines, and ensure compliance with industry training standards. By implementing innovative training solutions and maintaining a strong learning culture, you will help our leadership team to empower employees to reach their full potential while contributing to Cawingredients' long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy, enhancing knowledge and skills across departments.
* Design and deliver innovative training solutions, including digital, self-managed, and on-the-job learning.
* Ensure regulatory compliance, tracking training completion and updating programmes accordingly.
* Lead the implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS) and a enhancements to our Training Academy.
* Establish talent development initiatives, supporting leadership pathways and apprenticeship programmes.
* Collaborate with managers to create structured training plans that align with department goals.
* Monitor training KPIs, report on effectiveness, and continuously improve learning interventions.
* Support equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of training delivery.
* Act as the controller of training documents, ensuring proper management and distribution.
* Foster a culture of engagement and development, securing funding for training initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Minimum GCSEs (Grades A-C) in Maths and English or equivalent.
* Strong computer literacy and proficiency in digital training platforms.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage all levels of staff.
* Proven experience in designing and delivering training materials.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
* Experience sourcing and coordinating training solutions.
* Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Formal training qualification.
* Experience in the manufacturing, FMCG, or similar industry.
* Background in a customer service environment.

This role is full time role, permanently on site in the office, Monday - Friday.
