Senior Vehicle Mechanic – from the Company Bristol Waste Company. This vacancy is located in the city of Bristol with hybrid working options. The role is in the United Kingdom.

Job Responsibilities
* Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, ensure vehicle compliance with statutory legislation and perform preventative maintenance
* Troubleshoot breakdowns
* Conduct quality control inspections
* Lead, motivate and direct the workshop team, including task allocation, coaching and development of apprentices
* Take responsibility for the efficient operation of the Workshop in the absence of the Fleet Controller
* Evaluate service and parts options and contain costs
* Compile job cards and maintain systems for recording fleet compliance records and workshop reports
* Ensure site facilities are secure during opening hours and secure the premises at the end of shift
* Take responsibility for parts movements from stock
* Maintain a high standard of brand image
Essential Requirements
* Qualifications in vehicle maintenance
* Demonstrable ability to lead, motivate and direct a team of mechanics
* Effective communication skills
* Hold a full UK driving licence
