Salary: £12.60 per hour
The Role
We’re currently seeking a skilled and passionate Dog Stylist / Groomer to join our busy, vibrant salon. In this hands-on role, you’ll take the lead on grooming appointments, delivering high-quality grooms with care, precision, and a personal touch. You’ll be interacting with pet owners daily, so strong communication and customer service skills are a must. As a Stylist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring pets not only look great but feel great too. We’ll support your growth with comprehensive training and development opportunities, including our Earn as You Learn programmes and additional skill-based pay enhancements.
Responsibilities
* Groom and style dogs to breed- and customer-specific requirements, including bathing, drying, and finishing
* Lead grooming appointments with care and professionalism
* Provide excellent customer service and communicate with pet owners effectively
* Work in a fast-paced retail environment with a team
* Support personal and professional growth through training and development opportunities
Requirements
* Experienced, qualified and confident in all aspects of dog grooming
* Hold a grooming qualification
* Customer-focused with a friendly and professional approach
* Flexible and reliable, able to work a variable schedule across six days a week (minimum 24 hours/week with potential for more during busy periods)
* Team oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Target-driven experience (preferred, but not essential)
