Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality coffee and beverages. Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees, teas, and other refreshments.
* Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
* Handle customer orders efficiently whilst maintaining a friendly and professional attitude.
* Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
* Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Assist in food preparation tasks when required, supporting the overall service flow.
* Uphold high standards of hygiene and food safety at all times.
Skills
* Proven experience as a barista with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques.
* Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
* Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
* Effective time management to handle busy periods efficiently.
* Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
* Organised with good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
