Are you an experienced and compassionate Nurse Leader looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a dedicated Unit Manager to join our established care team and assist the Home Manager in overseeing the daily operations of one of our care home units.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and progressive management team, where your clinical expertise and leadership will help shape the future of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Home Manager in delivering outstanding nursing and clinical care.
* Implement effective clinical governance policies and ensure adherence to NMC guidelines and NICE standards.
* Mentor and support nurses and carers, delivering training in medication administration, wound care, and clinical assessments.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and ensure care plans are person-centred and regulatory compliant.
* Regularly monitor clinical standards and proactively address areas for improvement.
* Foster a positive, inclusive team environment, encouraging staff development and retention.
* Act as a clinical role model, leading by example in high standards of care delivery.
What Were Looking For:
* NMC-registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with relevant post-registration experience.
* Proven experience in a leadership or Unit Manager role within a care home or similar setting.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to person-centred care.
* Confident mentor and coach, able to inspire and develop your team.
* Skilled in electronic care planning and general IT systems.
* Thorough understanding of care sector regulations and best practices.
