We are looking for a creative and inspiring Art and Fashion teacher to join our vibrant and talented team of art, design, fashion and photography teachers within our 'Outstanding' College. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative educator with a passion for both traditional and contemporary artistic expression, as well as fashion design and textiles.
The ideal candidate will be have skills in pattern cutting and excellent technical skills in sewing techniques. CAD skills would be an advantage. They will be passionate about teaching students the skills they need to thrive in the fashion industry.
Educated to degree level, the successful candidate will contribute to a range of courses including T level in fashion, level 2 and level 3 art courses and the BTEC fashion certificate.
Whilst previous post-16 experience is an advantage, it is not essential. Many of our staff have joined us from a pre-16 environment. This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who has been working in schools to move into post-16 education.
The post attracts a competitive salary (pay award pending) and generous holidays along with access to the Teachers Pension Scheme.
This is a part time temporarry role, 4 days a week - Monday - Thursday
The successful candidates will be required to possess an enhanced DBS certificate to be employed at the College.Candidates are required to complete an application form and provide a covering letter.
