We’re looking for a Housing Manager to join our team — someone who is motivated by delivering excellent customer service, who can lead operational delivery across a portfolio of homes, and who enjoys working collaboratively to improve services. What You'll Be Doing As Housing Manager you will lead and develop a team of Housing professional to deliver an outstanding housing management service to our tenant, ensuring alignment with our housing strategy and vision, Housing Made Simple. This includes managing the delivery of high quality tenancy management, sustained tenancies, reduced rent loss and ensuring properties are well managed and safe. You will work closely with colleagues across repairs, income, compliance and neighbourhoods to deliver joined‑up services that meet customer needs. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading, coaching and developing a team to deliver customer‑focused housing services Managing tenancies proactively to prevent and intervene early in cases of tenancy sustainment, antisocial behaviour or arrears Supporting the team to resolve complex enquiries Working with repairs services to ensure timely repairs, compliance and tenancy safety Using management information and core systems to monitor performance, identify trends and drive improvements Preparing clear reports and presenting findings to senior colleagues and stakeholders What We're Looking For You’ll bring: Proven experience in housing management, preferably within social housing. Experience of leading and developing a team, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge and resources to carry out their roles. Demonstrable experience of continuous improvement, shaping the future direction of the team and wider business. Confident use of housing management systems, databases and Microsoft Office Evidence of using data and performance information to drive service improvements Educated to a GCSE standard or equivalent Qualified to CIH 4 Housing qualification or willing to study towards it Full UK Driving Licence Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers, partners and colleagues A customer‑focused approach with a commitment to equality, inclusion and positive outcomes for communities For full details on the essential criteria and role responsibilities, please click here.
