New Project Manager position open at scaling automotive EV tech company!
You'll be managing R&D projects at the forefront of advanced electric powertrains from concept to manufacture stages. This dynamic role offers professional growth, innovation, and collaboration in a rapidly evolving industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution: for projects related to traction electric motors and inverters.
2. Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with customers to align all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring components are delivered within budget and on time.
3. Engineering Support: Provide high-level engineering support and technical feedback to customers as needed.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare budgets, timing schedules, workload forecasts, and technical development roadmaps.
5. Team Management: Manage budgets and supervise development teams to ensure project deliverables are on track.
Skills Required:
1. Technical Understanding: high-level technical understanding of electric traction drives, including motor, inverter, and gearbox assemblies.
2. Project Delivery: Experience in delivering complex electromechanical assemblies, preferably electric traction drives.
3. Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
4. Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Project Management Tools: ideally, such as Microsoft Project or equivalent software.
6. Automotive Expertise: Understanding of automotive component development, industrialization, and high-volume manufacturing delivery processes from A-sample to SOP.
