ROLE & PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Profile
The Working Team Leaderis responsible for the production team / cell. Driving best in class production practices, techniques and producibility to support the Production of HSM products. You will support a resource pool of fitters / fabricators / welders / general operators and be accountable for production cell deliverables. Promote an environment that challenges the existing process and strives for excellence through continuous improvement and flexibility.
What you will do:
1. Support the daily Tier 1 reviews and support out brief into Tier 2/3.
2. Support the coordinating of shop floor staff & workflow to achieve the customer’s schedule.
3. Purchase materials, tools, equipment, and consumables as and when required.
4. Motivate and drive a positive team work ethic.
5. Support 5S excellence in the workplace.
6. Lead by example with strict adherence of all company manufacturing standards/methods and policies.
7. Assist process robustness, audit compliance accuracy, calibration management on the cell.
8. Support EH&S compliance and CORE improvement.
9. Ensure daily production plan is executed.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
10. Apprentice trained City & Guilds or equivalent, or HNC in an engineering discipline.
11. Leadership skills.
12. Organisation skills.
13. Desirable Microsoft Office proficiency - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
