SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary SRB (January Start)

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming primary school to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a Specialist Resource Base (SRB) from January.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and supporting children with additional learning needs, including autism, speech and language needs, and social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils within the SRB on a 1:1 and small-group basis
* Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual EHCPs
* Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
* Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and wider support team
* Helping to create a calm, nurturing, and structured learning environment
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
* Has previous experience working with SEN or ALN (school-based or care setting)
* Is patient, proactive, and genuinely passionate about supporting children
* Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
* Is confident adapting support to meet individual needs
* Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
