We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support a range of schools across the Wellingborough area. If you’re motivated by helping children who learn differently and enjoy roles where you can make a real impact, this opportunity could be perfect for you.
About the RoleYou will work directly with pupils who have a variety of additional needs, such as autism,munication and language difficulties, learning delays, sensory needs, or behavioural differences. Your support will help them engage with learning, build confidence and ovee day‑to‑day challenges.Your responsibilities may include:
1. Providing one‑to‑one or small‑group support
2. Assisting pupils with routines, transitions and class activities
3. Adapting learning tasks to suit individual needs
4. Promoting independence and celebrating progress
5. Working with teachers and other support staff to maintain an inclusive environment
Every day will bring its own moments of progress and reward.

Desirable Qualifications/Experience
10. GCSE/O Level or equivalent
11. Experience supporting children or young people
12. A driving licence may be beneficial depending on the school location.
