Hours: 15-20 hours per week
Pay Rate: £22.68 - £28.00 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: Term 3
DBS Requirement: Enhanced DBS will be required for this role

Position Overview
Bolton Talent Solutions, in partnership with Bolton College, is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Floristry Tutor to deliver high‑quality teaching to Level 2 students.
You will deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based sessions across a range of floristry topics, helping learners develop industry-standard skills in design, techniques, tools, and customer service. This role is ideal for someone with strong vocational floristry experience and a passion for developing the next generation of floral professionals.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons for Level 2 Floristry students
* Teach corefloristry skills including:
o Hand‑tied bouquets
o Floral arrangements
o Event and wedding floristry
o Design principles and colour theory
o Safe use of floristry tools and equipment
o Customer service and commercial practice
* Prepare learners for practical assessments and portfolio development
* Ensure all teaching materials meet awarding body requirements
* Provide constructive feedback and track learner progress
* Maintain a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment
* Contribute to course planning, marking, and general administrative duties
* Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and equality and diversity standards
Key Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, AET/PTLLS) - or willingness to work towards one
* Level 3 or higher qualification in Floristry (or extensive industry experience)
* Experience delivering floristry training in FE, adult learning, or workplace settings
* Strong practical floristry skills and confidence demonstrating techniques
* Understanding of floristry industry standards, trends, and commercial practice
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
