Allegro ETRM Business Lead - Commodity Trading House - £120-140k Base

Global, physical and financial energy trading business seeks an Allegro ETRM Business Lead to act as their ETRM SME across the trading business (Front, Middle and Back Office) for Crude Oil, Refined Products, Natural Gas, LNG and Power Trading both for physical and financial trading.
Based from their Central London HQ, the Allegro ETRM Business Lead will work closely with Trading, Operations, Trade Control, Risk, Finance, IT, and external vendors. You’ll oversee ETRM systems and trading in both their London and Houston office, project managing ETRM initiatives, and working on further design, configuration, training to users and development of the Allegro Horizon ETRM system.
Key responsibilities include:
* Understanding the full trading life cycle and its key stages, including pre-trade preparation, execution, clearing, settlement, and post-trade activities. The ability to articulate and document the trading life cycle to the wider team
* Own business-led design and configuration of ETRM solutions across physical and financial trading
* Lead process optimisation initiatives across trading, operations, and finance
* Own ETRM change delivery by coordinating business, IT, and vendors to implement upgrades, enhancements, and scalable improvements.
Skills, knowledge & experience sought:
* Proven track record working as an ETRM Business Analyst and Project Manager, working across front, middle and back office functions
* It is ESSENTIAL that you have previous ETRM software configuration experience on Allegro Horizon ETRM
* Strong understanding of physical and financial commodities trading
* In-depth knowledge of the end-to-end trade lifecycle
* Fantastic communication and senior stakeholder management skills, allowing you to speak across different offices, senior management and junior users
* Typically bright degree educated
