As a Senior Project Planner, you will work within a project controls team to support a range of diverse projects that include cutting‑edge technology, ensuring the correct capabilities, models, processes, and codes essential to deliver our mission.
Responsibilities
Leading on and contributing to the creation of project baselines; adding value to performance reporting and forecasting; assessing sub‑contractor schedule submissions; collaborating with Project Managers and specialist teams to guide them on management and control project delivery; contributing to project business cases, change control process, risk and opportunity process, and peer reviews.
Qualifications
* 2‑5 years true planning experience.
* You need to understand planning and have experience delivering a project utilizing the following: network logic, float paths, WBS/CBS creation, possibly EVM, resource levelling, monthly update cycle, change control, What‑If, fragnets, etc. Be able to make good judgement calls on planning, understand the role of a planner, its requirements each month, and be able to deliver to the business rhythm.
* Experience in a highly regulated industry (nuclear, oil, construction) is beneficial.
* Candidates need strong prioritisation skills and be able to focus on varied and changing priorities.
* Good IT skills, including Excel as a must.
* Planning proficiency will be tested as part of your recruitment journey.

Benefits and Salary
Starting Salary: £49,830 to £67,000 negotiable depending on experience. • 9‑day working fortnight – meaning you get every other Friday off work. • 270 hours holiday. • Market‑leading contributory pension scheme (AWE pay between 9% and 13% of your pensionable pay depending on your contributions).
