What you will do:
* Manage a caseload of children and families, including Child Protection (Section 47) and Child in Need (Section 17) cases.
* Undertake statutory assessments, risk assessments, and care planning, ensuring timely and effective safeguarding interventions.
* Participate in and contribute to strategy discussions, child protection conferences, and core group meetings.
* Develop and implement child-centred plans, promoting safety, wellbeing, and improved family outcomes.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Social Work BA/MA or equivalent
* Evidence of continued professional development
Registration and Compliance:
* Registered with Social Work England
* Enhanced DBS clearance
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks, including the Children Act 1989 and 2004, and Working Together to Safeguard Children
