Job Description
A leading defence organisation is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join their, Anglesey site. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will supervise complex aircraft maintenance activities, work independently using approved technical data and instructions, and ensure compliance with our Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
This is a permanent position based onsite at the Isle of Anglesey site with a salary of £34,703.20 + excellent benefits.
Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
Key responsibilities
* Provide flexibility during peak flying periods by supporting the flying task during the busiest parts of the day.
* Undertake Out-of-Phase (OOP) maintenance tasks during aircraft turnarounds.
* Assist aircrew with crew-in rectification to ensure operational readiness.
* Make decisions and take actions within authorised limits, based on trade, experience, and competence.
This role is full time working 36 hours per week and is based on site at RAF Valley, Anglesey.
Essential experience of the Electrical Supervisor:
Proven experience in a supervisory role, fully competent with all required authorities in place.
Qualifications for the Electrical Supervisor:
* Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or a military equivalent.
* Minimum academic qualification: City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance, or an equivalent certification.
