TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practicerecruitment agency is supporting an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in Paddock Wood, who are looking for a Senior Practice Accountant to join their experienced team in a general practice capacity across accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT. Our client is willing to build the position around the candidates experience and aspirations.
As a Senior Practice Accountant, you will report directly into the partners and be responsible for a mixed client portfolio made up of small business owners through to billionaires. You will be based in an amazing office in a rural location in Paddock Wood and also have the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours. You will be responsible for:
1. Prepare and review annual statutory accounts, corporation, partnership and personal tax returns.
2. Prepare and review monthly and quarterly accounts and VAT returns.
3. Managing your client portfolio and client relations.
4. Oversee and review the work of more junior staff and bookkeepers.
5. Onboard new clients and assist the partners with ad-hoc consulting and systems implementation work as required.
