Machine Operator – Beef Jerky Production £14.21 per hour York, YO26 8LA Kingdom People are recruiting Machine Operators for a leading savoury snack manufacturer specialising in beef jerky. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing production site with long-term prospects. No public transport to site – own transport is required. Duties include: • Operating slicing, marinating, drying and packing machines • Loading raw beef onto production lines • Setting up and adjusting machines to meet product specifications • Monitoring product quality and weight • Carrying out basic fault-finding and reporting breakdowns • Completing production and hygiene records • Cleaning machines and work areas to food safety standards • Working safely in a chilled food production environment Requirements • Ability to work 8-hour shifts, • Own transport required (no public transport available), • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions, • Willingness to work with raw meat, • Positive attitude and willingness to learn, Previous machine operating experience is helpful but not essential — full training provided.
