Responsibilities
* Facilitate and deliver both live stream and in‑person group exercise classes, accommodating participants with varying degrees of abilities and physical function.
* Promote self‑directed activity using pre‑recorded on‑demand classes and a journal to aid participants in self‑managing their condition after the 12‑week Programme.
* Re‑calibrate exercises and intensities based on regular improvements shown in effort and performance.
* Identify any deterioration of participants, follow the internal escalation process, complete reporting within the required timeframe, and capture outcome data accurately to support our Charitable Purpose and monitor progress.
* Conduct weekly 1‑to‑1 telephone conversations with each participant to provide coaching on short‑ and long‑term goal setting, understand restrictions, monitor progress, offer emotional‑wellbeing support, and empower self‑directed activity.
* Facilitate remote (digital) and in‑person exercise classes, provide emotional‑wellbeing support, promote healthy eating, and assist participants in setting and achieving recovery goals.
Qualifications
* Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (essential).
* Preferred: BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation (desired but not essential).
* Experience working in a Rehabilitation Specialist position; understanding of rehabilitation principles.
* Experience working with vulnerable adults.
* Excellent organisational, decision‑making, and time‑resource management skills.
* Strong problem‑solving, diagnostic, and communication abilities.
* Good English and numeracy skills.
* Strong IT skills.
