Advert Quality Assurance Technician | Clitheroe | Food Manufacturing Facility £14.13 per hour | Full-time | Multiple Shift Patterns Available About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our technical team at our Clitheroe site. This is a hands-on role in a busy food manufacturing environment where you'll work closely with production, hygiene, and technical departments to uphold the highest standards of food safety, quality, and hygiene. You’ll play a key role in maintaining our quality systems, supporting product evaluation, auditing processes, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and internal procedures. Typical patterns include: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Hours 5am–1pm 5am–1pm 5am–1pm 5am–1pm 5am–1pm – 40 6am–2pm 6am–2pm 6am–2pm 6am–2pm 6am–2pm – 40 – 2pm–10pm 2pm–10pm 2pm–10pm 12pm–8pm 6am–2pm 40 2pm–12am 4pm–12am 4pm–12am 4pm–12am 4pm–12am – 42 Key Responsibilities Safety & Quality Auditing: Conduct HACCP audits and CCP checks Verify equipment calibration and cleaning standards Collect samples for microbiological and chemical testing Hygiene & GMP Compliance: Conduct hygiene and housekeeping audits Perform glass/foreign body/fabrication audits and follow up on corrective actions Quality Systems Management: Maintain and update records, SOPs, and training documentation Ensure documentation is aligned with production requirements Product Evaluation: Assess raw materials, WIP, and finished products against specifications Support process trials and product assessments Project Support: Participate in technical/quality improvement projects as assigned What You’ll Need Experience: Minimum 1 year in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment Qualifications: Food Safety Level 2 (required) HACCP Level 2 (required) Skills & Attributes: Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills Ability to manage data and maintain accurate records Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working in chilled or frozen environments Some lifting may be required (up to 20kg) What can we offer you?
