Teach Now is delighted to be recruiting for a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Barnet. This is a full-time, long-term role offering the opportunity to make a real difference in both a specialist SEN setting and a mainstream Year 1 classroom. About the Role This unique position combines two enriching elements of school life. In the mornings, you will work in a dedicated SEN unit, supporting pupils with high needs, including both verbal and non-verbal learners. In the afternoons, you will step into a lively Year 1 classroom, providing targeted support across literacy, numeracy, and whole-class activities. You will play a vital role in fostering independence, building confidence, and helping children access their learning. Collaboration with teachers, therapists, and fellow support staff will be key, ensuring each child’s EHCP targets and individual needs are fully met.
