As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient service, helping people access the care they need. What We Offer:
£13.50 per hour – Competitive pay for your hard work
Full-time permanent role – 37.5 hours per week
Work-life balance – Surgery hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 6:30 pm (No weekends or late evenings)

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Greeting and assisting patients both in person and over the phone
* Booking appointments for doctors, nurses, and clinics
* Handling administrative tasks, including patient records and prescriptions
* Managing incoming enquiries and signposting patients to the right services
* Operating the computerised telephone and appointment system
* Supporting clinical staff with day-to-day administrative tasks
* Ensuring the reception area is welcoming and well-organised
Essential Skills & Experience:
Experience working in primary care or the NHS
Strong phone handling skills with excellent customer service skills
Good IT skills and ability to use electronic systems
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
A team player with great attention to detail
Desirable Skills:
Experience using EMIS Web
Experience using PATCHS
Previous experience in a similar reception/administrative role within healthcare
